When They Go Low, We Go Hye.
Back in August, we missed out on the grand opening of William Chris Vineyards new tasting room nestled in the rolling hills of Hye, Texas. The 5,500 sqft tasting room and welcome center was constructed especially for Hye Society wine club members and enthusiasts in mind, offering an extensive experience focused on community building and viticulture. William Chris Vineyards continues to innovate and change the landscape of Texas winemaking. Wine-o’s no longer have to travel all the way to Napa to enjoy a world class tasting experience. This boutique vineyard from Bill and Chris has blossomed beautifully over the past 11 years, and that’s why we consider it to be one of Texas’ high-end wine brands. We recently had a chance to tour the new tasting room in honor of Texas Wine Month and preview the fall holiday lineup; here are a few things you can expect upon your visit.
Great TEXAS-made wine
Southern hospitality in the rolling hills
A passion for Old-World Winemaking
Breathtaking views of the Hye estate vineyard rows
One-of-a-kind wine tasting and food pairing experience
A wealth of wine knowledge from the tasting room manager and staff
To experience this beautiful new addition to the William Chris estate you must sign up for their Hye Society Wine Club membership, which currently has a waiting list. William Chris Vineyards also offers tasting experiences by reservation to the public Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. William Chris is located at 10352 U.S. Highway 290, Hye, TX 78635.
